Frequently asked questions

Clear and concise answers to understand Harbinger without the hype.

What is Harbinger Signal?+
Harbinger Signal is a mini app designed to discover signals and create alerts for tokens in the World ecosystem. It combines activity (votes), context, and alerts so you can make decisions based on information, not noise.
Does Harbinger tell me when to buy or sell?+
No. Harbinger does not make decisions for you. It shows signals (movement, volume/attention, sentiment shifts) and notifies you when something relevant starts happening, so you can evaluate the situation yourself.
What does “sentiment” mean in Harbinger?+
It represents the collective reading of the community. Votes reflect how a token is perceived (bullish, neutral, or bearish). When sentiment changes consistently, it can signal a shift in perception — and sometimes in direction.
What are alerts?+
Alerts are notifications you configure so you don't have to monitor the market all day. For example: “notify me if it drops below X” or “if it rises above Y”. Harbinger alerts you when the condition is met.
What is volume and why does it matter?+
Volume represents how much activity is happening around a token (buying and selling). If a token normally moves little and suddenly activity increases, it often signals growing attention. Attention often arrives before major moves.
How do I know if a signal is important?+
Look at three things: (1) if participation increases unusually, (2) if sentiment shifts consistently, and (3) if there is movement or attention in the last 24h. One signal may be noise; several aligned signals usually form context.
What is the difference between Free and Premium?+
The Free plan lets you try the product with a limited number of alerts. Premium expands your coverage with more alerts and deeper signals. It is not required — if the habit and context help you, you can stay on Free.
Does Harbinger store my data or perform invasive tracking?+
We do not seek unnecessary data. The goal is transparency and usefulness. A clear and simple privacy page will be published later to explain what data is stored and why.
Where does the data come from?+
Harbinger combines community activity (votes and participation) with public market data. Signals are generated from aggregated behavior and activity patterns within the ecosystem.
Is Harbinger an automated trading tool?+
No. Harbinger does not execute trades or manage funds. It provides signals, alerts, and context so users can better understand what is happening in the ecosystem.
